Global Affairs Canada marks anniversary of UN snapback of Iran restrictions with PSI joint statement

Global Affairs Canada published a joint statement marking one year since six UN Security Council resolutions — 1696 (2006), 1737 (2006), 1747 (2007), 1803 (2008), 1835 (2008) and 1929 (2010) — returned into force on September 27, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. EDT through the snapback process initiated by France, Germany and the United Kingdom over Iran's non-performance under the JCPOA.
