    CBSA extends administrative review of carbon and alloy steel line pipe from South Korea

    The Canada Border Services Agency has extended the conclusion of the administrative review of carbon and alloy steel line pipe originating in or exported from South Korea by Husteel Co., Ltd., Soon Hong Trading Co., Ltd. and Hyundai Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. A revised schedule for the review is now available. The notice does not state the new conclusion date.

    CBSA initiates expiry review investigation of small power transformers from Chinese Taipei and South Korea

    CBSA states that on October 1, 2026 the CITT initiated, under subsection 76.03(1) of SIMA, an expiry review of its December 24, 2021 finding in inquiry NQ-2021-003 on the dumping of certain small power transformers originating in or exported from the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei) and the Republic of Korea (South Korea), and that CBSA today initiated its own expiry review investigation under paragraph 76.03(7)(a) of SIMA. CBSA will make its determination no later than February 26, 2027 and issue a Statement of Reasons by March 12, 2027.

    CITT initiates expiry review of small power transformers from Chinese Taipei and Korea

    The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated an expiry review (RR-2026-007) of its December 24, 2021 finding in inquiry NQ-2021-003 on certain small power transformers from Chinese Taipei and Korea, to determine whether expiry of the finding is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping and injury to the domestic industry. The Canada Border Services Agency will determine no later than February 26, 2027 whether there is a likelihood of resumed or continued dumping; if positive, the Tribunal will decide no later than August 5, 2027 whether that dumping is likely to injure the domestic industry. Interested persons, associations or governments may participate by filing Form I—Notice of Participation.

    CITT initiates expiry review RR-2025-009 of wheat gluten finding from six countries

    The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated an expiry review (RR-2025-009) of its April 22, 2021 finding in inquiry NQ-2020-003 on wheat gluten from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Lithuania, to determine whether expiry of the finding is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping and injury to the domestic industry. The Canada Border Services Agency will determine by July 30, 2026 whether there is a likelihood of resumed or continued dumping; if positive, the Tribunal will decide by January 6, 2027 whether that dumping is likely to injure the domestic industry. Interested persons, associations or governments may participate by filing Form I—Notice of Participation.
