The CBSA launches investigation into the alleged dumping of wheat gluten from Italy, Poland, and the United Kingdom
The CBSA announced on June 19, 2026 that it is initiating an investigation into whether wheat gluten from producers operating in or exporting from Italy, Poland and the United Kingdom is being sold at unfair prices in Canada, following a complaint filed by ADM Agri-Industries Co. supported by Permolex Ltd. The CITT will begin a preliminary inquiry into injury and issue a decision by August 18, 2026, while the CBSA will make a preliminary dumping decision by September 17, 2026. A statement of reasons with additional details will be available on the CBSA's website within 15 days of the launch.
