CBP adds ACE Cargo Release and FTZ error codes for restricted Canadian products under Proclamations 11061, 11062 and 11063
CSMS # 70050117 - New Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and Cargo Release Error Codes for Restricted Canadian Products
CBP states in CSMS # 70050117 that it has added error codes 239 (e214 FTZ admissions) and 335 (ACE Cargo Release) for designated imports originating from Canada entered for consumption or withdrawn from a warehouse for consumption on or after 12:01 a.m. ET on September 29, 2026, covering certain products under HTSUS headings 0404, 1702, 1703, 2202, 2203, 2204, 2205, 2206, 2207, 2208 and 8711, including alcohol packed in bottles, cans, boxes, kegs or other direct-to-consumption containers. The codes were added as part of the implementation of Proclamations 11061, 11062 and 11063. Non-compliant submissions will be rejected with those error codes.
Filers of e214 FTZ admissions and ACE Cargo Release entries for Canadian-origin goods under those HTSUS headings will receive rejections with error code 239 or 335 for non-compliant submissions on or after September 29, 2026.
