Global Affairs Canada opens beef and veal TRQ reallocation under Items 114 to 116

Global Affairs Canada states that quota is currently available for reallocation under the Beef and Veal Tariff Rate Quota for Items 114 to 116 on the Import Control List, and that the quantity available as of October 15, 2016 is 12,826,035 kg. Under section 7.4 of Notice to Importers No. 867, returned or adjustment-policy quota is normally reallocated to eligible applicants first-come-first-served, load-by-load, to a maximum of 26,000 kilograms per load. Applicants who have used 80% or more of their allocation may apply in writing for the waiting list; applications from applicants below 80% utilization will not be accepted.
